Worship services

We meet together throughout the week to worship God.

Sunday 9:00am – A more traditional reflective communion service.

Sunday 10:30 am – An informal worship service.

Wednesday 9:30am – A spoken reflective service of Holy Communion.

Small groups

It’s not just about Sunday worship.

We think regularly meeting together during the week in small groups to pray, study the bible and socialise together is an important part of being a Christian.

Uganda project

We recently sent a team to Uganda to help with setting up a community led social enterprise project to help keep girls in school by making sanitary towels.

Study theology

For the second year running, this September 2016, we will be streaming weekly teaching from St Mellitus College, one of the most exciting and innovative centres of theological study and training for missional leadership in the UK today.

Teaching will take place on Tuesday evenings at 7pm during term time, with refreshments available from 6:45pm. All sessions will begin with a time of prayer and worship, and include regular refreshment breaks.

Cafe

The Windows Café is open at the Ascension Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday 10.00 am – 2.00pm. We offer:

Hot and cold drinks
Sandwiches
Baked potatoes
Homemade cakes and puddings

Windows Café is here to provide a comfortable environment in which to relax and to meet friends whilst eating good food.

Social groups

Getting together is important to us. So we host a number of social groups where people can explore their interests or meet like-minded people.

Alongside meeting together to worship God, we have a cafe on site open two days a week, we have special events throughout the year and meet together socially.

We run regular small groups who meet together to talk about their faith in a smaller setting.

We also run groups focused on a particular interest or life stage as part of how we respond to the needs of our community.

We think you can meet God at anywhere, any time, whether that’s over a cup of coffee, whilst painting or playing.
